Six Flags is available throughout the United States and they offer seasonal passes and single tickets. In addition to purchasing seasonal passes or single tickets, people have the option to purchase a special card that will reserve their placement in long lines. The special card is called a Flash Pass and allows people to enjoy rides and reserve their spot to other attractions at the same time. Six Flags offer the following rides and parks: thrill rides, family rides, water rides, theme parks, water parks, and animal parks.

Depending on the location, Six Flags offers the following theme parks: Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, Vallejo, Six Flags Magic Mountain, Los Angeles, Six Flags Over Georgia, Atlanta, Six Flags Great America, Chicago, Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom, Louisville, Six Flags America, Washington DC, Six Flags New England, Springfield, Six Flags, St. Louis, Six Flags Great Adventure, Jackson, The Great Escape and Splashwater Kingdom, Lake George, Six Flags Fiesta Texas, San Antonio, and Six Flags Over Texas, Arlington.

Water parks can be found at the following locations: Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, Los Angeles, Six Flags White Water, Atlanta, Six Flags Great America, Chicago, Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom, Louisville, Six Flags America, Washington DC, Six Flags New England, Springfield, Six Flags, St. Louis, Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, Jackson, The Great Escape and Splashwater Kingdom, Lake George, Six Flags Great Escape Lodge and Indoor Waterpark, Lake George, Six Flags Fiesta Texas, San Antonio, and Six Flags Over Texas, Arlington.

There are only two locations that offer animal parks: Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, Vallejo and Six Flags Wild Safari, Jackson.

Roller coaster rides at Six Flags contain over fifty padded seats. However, some rides may not have the proper safety precautions. Therefore, it’s best to ask the operator before spending money on a ride. Roller coaster rides are very fast paced, so it’s possible for people to become nauseated temporarily. In addition to fast paced roller coasters, there are many slow yet action packed rides.
